Bio

BEFORE THE GEE-GEES – Valley Huskers (CJFL):

Played two seasons of junior football for the Valley Huskers in the BCFL conference in 2021 and 2022… In first season with the Huskers, threw for 1,298 yards and seven touchdowns… In final season with the Huskers in 2022, finished second in the conference in passing, completing 293 passes for 2,342 yards and 22 touchdowns… Had a career-high performance of 416 passing yards and 8 touchdowns in a win over the Vancouver Island Raiders (Sept. 10)… Per U SPORTS policy, used one year of eligibilty.

BEFORE JUNIOR FOOTBALL:

Janssen played minor football in his hometown of Chilliwack, in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley… Played for the Chilliwack Giants minor football program, before attending high school at Sardis Secondary… Served as the Sardis Falcons’ starting quarterback in 11th and 12th grade (2018 and 2019) in school’s return to football competition… Named a BCHSF AAA All-Star in 2018… Threw for 2,036 yards and 25 touchdowns in eight games in senior season in 2019… Named Sardis’ Senior Male Athlete of the Year for 2019-20 year, also playing basketball for the Falcons.
