GAME NOTES:
- With both teams sitting at 2-4, a win for either is essential in securing a spot in the OUA playoffs. Both teams have a bye over Thanksgiving weekend and will return to action for theirs regular season finales on Oct. 19. Ottawa will host Toronto (1-5), while Carleton will host #1 Laurier (5-0).
- Carleton has done a strong job at moving the football, ranking fourth in the OUA with 437.8 yards per game, while Ottawa has given up the third fewest yards per game in the conference with 360.8.
- Ravens quarterback Elijah Barnes has been the third leading passer in the conference this season, however, he will face his stiffest test against the top-ranked pass defence in the OUA in the Gee-Gees, who give up only 158.0 yard per game through the air.
- In a narrow loss to the #1 Laurier Golden Hawks last week, Ottawa's passing attack came alive with Josh Janssen throwing for 302 yards and Noah Avery coming up with 119 receiving yards on the afternoon. Last season, Janssen had his second highest passing yards total of the season (251 yards) in a Panda Game win.
