NEWS: Genier, Laplante, and Warren named to OUA All Star teams, Bilodeau selected as the Marion Hilliard Award recipient
On Wednesday, the OUA announced their 2025-26 OUA All-Stars and major award recipients. Three Gee-Gees were named to All Star teams while Beatrice Bilodeau was selected as the Marion Hilliard Award recipient.
Maelle Laplante was a dynamic defender throughout the season, earning First Team All-Star honours. The pharmacy student from Levis, QC., totalled 17 assists, second highest in the conference. This marks her third consecutive All-Star recognition.
Clara Genier and Gillian Warren were each named to the OUA's Second All-Star team.
Genier was a standout between the posts. Starting 21 games, Clara finished the season with a 1.87 GAA and .927 goals against average. From Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, QC., Genier had five shutout performances and earned 12 wins during the regular season.
Warren was a reliable force for the Gee-Gees, leading the team with 30 points (3rd in the OUA). She totalled 16 goals and 14 assists, more than doubling her production from last season. The Sauble Beach, ON., product logged a four-point night against Ontario Tech (Feb. 6, 2026), finding a goal and three assists.
Gee-Gees captain, Bilodeau was named the 2025-26 Marion Hilliard Award recipient.
This season, Bea recorded a career-high 7 goals and 7 assists in 26 games, including 2 game-winning goals. Beyond hockey, she is deeply committed to her community, volunteering with Kids Help Phone, mentoring rural students interested in medicine through ROMI, supporting programs like Fillactive, assisting seniors in long-term care, and contributing to multiple medical teams at community sporting events.
