OTTAWA GAME NOTES 

  • Major stat leaders
  • The Gee-Gees were tested against their crosstown rivals, falling in a second overtime period against the Ravens. Plagued by penalties, the Gee-Gees were trying to survive a 5-on-3 situation when the final blow came.
  • Both Ottawa goaltenders have been challenged greatly early in the regular season and rookie, Lauren MacKay, earned her first shutout with a 17 save win over McGill.  

MONTREAL GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Wikona Laloche – 3
    • Assists: Jessika Boulanger – 4
    • Points: Marie Terriault, Jade Picard, Jessika Boulanger – 4
    • Wins: Aube Racine – 2
  • Montreal has worked hard in both their wins and losses as they've lost twice in overtime. They took the RSEQ leaders, the Concordia Stingers, to overtime before falling 2-1.
  •  The Carabins are coming off a 6-1 win over the Martlets on home ice and look to start building a win streak when the Gee-Gees are in town.

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Emilie Lussier – 6
    • Assists: Emilie Lussier – 6
    • Points: Emilie Lussier – 12
    • Wins: Arianne Leblanc – 3
  • Concordia has had a dominant start to the season, having yet to suffer a loss in their opening six games.
  • Emilie Lussier currently ranks second in the RSEQ with 12 points. Lussier has been a key part of production for the Stingers, contributing to all but one game. Against the Gee-Gees, Lussier scored a pair of goals and added an assist.
