FOURTH YEAR (2024-25)

Appeared and started in 18 regular season games and started in all six post season matchups to help the Gee-Gees to a Critelli Cup championship and a U SPORTS bronze medal… Averaged 10.1 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game and 1.1 blocks per game… Logged a career high 22 points in U SPORTS quarterfinal win over Laval (March 13, 2025).

THIRD YEAR (2023-24)

Appeared and started in all 22 regular season games for the Gee-Gees as well as all three post season matchups… Led the Gee-Gees with 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game while averaging ten points per game… Earned a career high 20 points and 14 rebounds against Laurier (Jan. 27, 2024).

SECOND YEAR (2022-23)

Started five games, made an appearance in all 22 regular season games and started in both post-season games for the Gee-Gees… Averaged 5.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game… Scored a career-high 17 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals in 80-60 win against Laurentian (Feb. 10).

FIRST YEAR (2021-22):

Appeared in all 14 regular season games in first season with the Gee-Gees… Averaged 5.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, ranking third on the team in field goal percentage with 42.1… Scored a season-high 14 points to go along with 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in a win at Ontario Tech (Nov. 12)… Made playoff debut against Laurentian (Mar. 16) finishing with 5 points and 7 rebounds in the win.

SEASON NOT PLAYED (2020-21)

Earned U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian honours. Season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Did not impact eligibility. 

BEFORE THE GEE-GEES

Payne was one of the top high school prospects while being the eighth-ranked post player in the country for the class of 2020… She was a captain at Southwestern Academy in the OSBA where she averaged 9.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Payne also competed in the U17 National Basketball Championship playing for Ontario.
