- The Gee-Gees put together a pair of great games wins over the weekend and will be looking to carry their momentum up north as they travel to take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves.
- Mitch Martin logged his first two U SPORTS goals in only his third game with the Garnet and Grey. Martin has contributed a point per game so far.
- Zach Dietz has assumed goaltending responsibilities as Franky Lapenna is absent from the lineup representing Canada at the FISU Winter Games. Dietz earned a shutout on Friday night and only allowed a single goal against the following afternoon.
