Bio
Bob Bowes has been a member of the Gee-Gees women's hockey team since 2004, marking 20 years with the team in 2024. Beginning his involvement with the team as a fitness testing and conditioning volunteer, Bowes soon took over the duties of equipment manager and has travelled with the team consistently since 2006, rarely missing a game or practice.
Bowes was a member of three conference silver-medal winning teams and three national championship tournament appearances. Bowes, who graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1977 with a Masters in Science in Human Kinetics, is being recognized for his long-time commitment as well as his hard-working and motivating character. For twenty years he has been a supportive, positive influence on the Gee-Gees team atmosphere.
