Sartor came to uOttawa following one season at Idaho State University in 1973, and he was selected by Ottawa in the 1977 CFL Draft. Originally from Hamilton, Ont., he earned a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from uOttawa and completed a Master's of Education degree in 1982.
