OTTAWA GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
  • The Gee-Gees are on the hunt for revenge as they fell to the Rouge et Or in their home opener 3-0. The game consisted of three close sets, falling within four points each time.
  • Ottawa pulled away from UQTR in their first meeting. Taking the game 3-0, the Gee-Gees were dominant in their final set, holding the Patriotes to 11 points in the last set.

  • Major stat leaders
    • Kills: Justine Raymond – 86
    • Digs: Justine Raymond – 70
    • Assists: Marie-Justine Couture – 162
    • Blocks: Justine Raymond – 18
  • Justine Raymond is amongst the RSEQ leaders in both kills and blocks. Against Ottawa, she led the Rouge et Or with 11 kills in 13 points.
  • Laval is coming off three consecutive 3-2 games. Of these games, Laval secured the win over the UQTR Patriotes and fell to Montreal and McGill.

    • Blocks: Marie-Pierre Gauvin – 7  
  • UQTR's two wins are both against RSEQ newcomers, UQAC. The Patriotes won 3-2 and 3-1 respectively.
  • The Patriotes were unable to keep up with the Gee-Gees for the entirety of their first meeting. UQTR managed to keep the opening two sets close with scores of 22 and 21, but struggled to put up a fight in the third set.
