  • Major stat leaders
  • The Gee-Gees started the season off with a thriller against the Carabins, needing a fifth set to decide the outcome. The final set ended 15-13 in favour of Montreal.
  • Maxim Langevin leads the RSEQ with seven service aces after a single game.

LAVAL GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Kills: Eloise Ross-Tremblay, Roxane St-Amand – 19
    • Digs: Justine Raymond – 24
    • Assists: Marie-Justine Couture - 52
    • Blocks: Justine Raymond, Cloe St-Gelais – 6
  • Laval went undefeated in their opening games, starting things off with a 3-0 win over Sherbrooke and a 3-1 win over UQTR.
  • Despite the decisive 3-0 result, sets with Sherbrooke were close. Laval escaped with 25-22 and 25-23 victories to prevent extra sets.

  • UQTR started their season with a rough matchup against McGill. Falling 25-16 and 6-25 in the opening sets, they managed to compete in the third set, ultimately dropping 30-28 for a loss.
  • UQTR will have a day of rest heading into the game against Ottawa as they host ETS on the Friday. Ottawa will have played against Laval the day before.
