• Ottawa picked up their first win of the season Sunday, defeating the UQTR Patriotes 3-1. Despite dropping the opening frame 25-17, the Gee-Gees roared back to secure the four-set victory.
• Tristan Peterson's 15 kills on Sunday were the most by a Gee-Gee in a single game this season.
• Rookie middle Janae McKay continued her strong play at the net last weekend. She has accumulated a team-high 17 blocks through eight matches.
• Alana Leung is tenth in the country in service aces (12). Leung is one of three players to have appeared in every set this season, joining McKay and Magalie Frappier.
