  • In their previous meeting against the Citadins at Montpetit Hall, the Gee-Gees fell 3-2 in a hard-fought battle during the home opener. Kara Hayes had 11 kills in the match, including a crucial kill to force a fifth set.
  • In their most recent game, half of the starting line-up was composed of rookies: Portia Cooper, Alana Leung, and Trinity Lusan.
