  • The Voyageurs have been able to pressure opposing defences with shots as the game progresses. Through three games, 10 of their 15 shots have come in the second half.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:

"Offensively, we've been good, we've created a lot of opportunity. I like that about our play. I think we can probably do a little bit better in terms of converting on those opportunities, so the potential is there for an even greater offensive output. Defensively we've had a lot of different players playing in different positions throughout each game and throughout each half, so we're still struggling a little bit for consistency but I like the performances I've gotten from individual players." – Steve Johnson, Head Coach.

"We haven't faced them for a while now, so we're preparing as we do for any other game. Working hard during the week and trying to make our training very game-like to be prepared with the level of play they'll come at us with." – Julia Rosenthal, fourth-year midfielder.

NIPSSING GAME NOTES

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:

"I think we realize we lost opportunities to get maximum points from our games against Nipissing last year. We know they're a quality opponent and they've shown themselves to have had a good start, so it should be an interesting game." – Steve Johnson, Head Coach.

"I think we'll definitely treat it just like any other game, we don't want to get too 'in our heads' about it, but we'll also be pushing a little extra harder I think." – Julia Rosenthal, fourth-year midfielder.
