Game 1: 4-1 win vs Laurier
The Gee-Gees started the series with a notable home crowd advantage, welcoming over 500 fans to the Minto Sports Complex. After conceding the opening goal, the Gee-Gees found their footing and put together a convincing 4-1 win to open the series.
Game 2: 3-2 loss at Laurier
On the road, the Gee-Gees faced a tough battle as the Golden Hawks were back in familiar territory. Goals from Beatrice Bilodeau and Alex Ferguson were not enough to hold back Laurier who took the win to force game three.
Game 3: 3-2 OT win at Laurier
A quiet first period was followed by intense hockey. With both team's fighting to stay alive, it was Laurier who had the advantage in the final moments of the game. Down 2-1, the Gee-Gees made magic happen in the final 30 seconds of regulation. Gillian Warren found the mesh, reigniting hope for the Gee-Gees.
Ottawa had their backs against the wall in overtime, plagued by a penalty.
