  • The Gee-Gees didn't have the best opening game to start the season. The team fell 4-1 to Montreal in front of a home crowd, conceding three goals in the second period.
  • Ottawa will look to bounce back against their crosstown rivals, who they went 4-1 against in the 2022-23 season.
  • Goaltender, Mahika Sarrazin, finished the Gee-Gees first game with 28 saves out of 31 shots.
