Bio
Walsh grew up in PEI playing basketball from a young age. She began her postsecondary career at Holland College, winning an ACAA Championship and earning a CCAA National silver medal while completing a Sport & Leisure Management diploma. She then continued her career at Nipissing University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and played three seasons with the Women’s basketball team.
In 2020, she moved to Ottawa and started gradually building her brand, MWTraining, which was later launched in July 2022. She has worked with female athletes, providing both intentional individual and group training and mentorship. Over the past five years, she has expanded her coaching experience, through roles with Juel Prep, ONL-X Jr Boys & ONL-X Senior Women’s teams, the NCASC All-Star Girls Event, and currently as the ONL-X Girls Performance & Skills Coach.
