Bio
Originally from Lethbridge, Alberta, Zarowny played six seasons with the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. She was a three-year team captain, a three-time Academic All-Canadian, and a member of the Pronghorns Leadership Academy. In her final season, she received the Alumni Association Leadership Award. After wrapping up her playing career, she moved to Ottawa to continue her education.
Zarowny started coaching with the Jr. Horns program in 2016 and has since worked with a variety of clubs and levels, coaching athletes from U11 through U19 in both Alberta and the Ottawa region. In the spring of 2025, she completed her NCCP Level 1 certification.
Off the court, Zarowny works full time with the Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League as Operations Executive – Basketball and Community. In that role, she oversees game and business operations, basketball logistics, and community initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Human Kinetics with a concentration in Sport Management from the University of Ottawa.
