OTTAWA GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
  • In 2022-23, the Gee-Gees met the Voyageurs during the opening round of the Critelli Cup playoffs in the 2022-23 season. Natsuki Szczokin contributed 29 points in the triple digit win to end the Voyageurs' season. During the regular season, Szczokin put up 27 points against Laurentian.
  •  Ottawa suffered their second loss of the season to start the second half of the regular season. Falling 70-61 to Queen's, Ottawa bounced back the following night with a dominant 88-62 victory over Ontario Tech.
  • Allie McCarthy has picked up steam, logging 17 points in the Gee-Gees last three games. Deadly from under the rim and beyond the arch, McCarthy has proved to be a key player for the Gee-Gees at this point in the season.

  • The Voyageurs opened 2024 with a pair of wins against Nipissing and Lakehead.
  •  Laurentian will be looking for revenge against Ottawa, falling to them earlier in the regular season, but also for ending their season in 2022-23.

    • Rebounds (per game): Sophie Milner – 9
  • Dominique Bouchard ranks fourth in the OUA with 42.1 three-point percentage. She has average 7 points 3.6 rebounds per game so far this season.
  • Three Gee-Gees were in double digits in their first meeting against the Lakers earlier this season, Natsuki Szczokin led the way with 16 points, followed by Melina De lulio and Alana Renon.
