WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
- Fresh from their most dominant performance of the season, the Gee-Gees will continue to navigate through the most difficult stretch of their regular season schedule this weekend in Toronto. Taking on #4 Ryerson, the Gee-Gees will be set to go toe-to-toe with one of their biggest rivals. Ryerson represents one of five OUA teams ranked in the Top 10 that the team will be taking on over the next three weekends.
- Fifth-year forward Katherine Follis returns to her hometown for the first time as a Gee-Gee. Following five seasons (playing in four) with Ryerson, Follis returns as the nation's leader in field goal percentage (63.0 per cent). Follis is also posting career high per game averages in points (12.7), rebounds (5.3), and assists (1.5).
- The Gee-Gees will see a fantastic test in the Ryerson on Friday, perhaps setting up a playoff meeting down the road. The Rams currently rank first in the OUA in three-point percentage (32.2), free throw percentage (77.6), turnovers per game (14.2), points against per game (55.9).
- With near triple-doubles in both games last weekend, fifth-year centre Angela Ribarich will likely see her minutes steadily climb as the team looks to peak late in the season. Playing in her hometown for the last time this regular season and possibly for her time as a Gee-Gee, she will be as key as ever in the pursuit of two wins.
