NEWS: Three Gee-Gees recognized as OUA reveals All-Star teams and major award winners
Three athletes from the University of Ottawa men's hockey were recognized as the OUA announced the 2025-26 All-Star teams and major award winners.
Alexis Daviault was named to the OUA East All-Rookie team and the OUA East Rookie of the Year after an outstanding first season in the Garnet and Grey. From Gatineau, QC., Daviault totalled 24 points, scoring 5 goals and 19 assists throughout regular season action.
Max Grondin earns OUA East Second Team All-Star honours after leading the Gee-Gees with 30 points. The biology student from Hearst, ON., scored 12 goals and logged a career high 18 assists.
Lucas Veilleux joins Daviault on the OUA East All-Rookie team. The Ottawa local found 20 points during his freshman campaign, scoring 11 goals and adding 9 assists. Veilleux netted the first post-season goal for the Gee-Gees against Ontario Tech.
