Nominations open for Football Hall of Fame

The Gee-Gees Football Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the 2026 induction class.

Nominations are open to the public and can be made by completing and submitting the nomination form. The deadline for nominations for the 2026 induction class is March 30.

The Gee-Gees Football Hall of Fame currently consists of 90 honoured members, including 71 individual athletes, thirteen builders, and six teams. The current members stretch from Eddie Gleason whose first season in Garnet and Grey was in 1895, up to 2014 JP Metras Award-winning defensive lineman and Grey Cup Champion, Ettore Lattanzio.

The Gee-Gees football team's full history stretches back to 1881, and the program record book is available online, for reference.

The 2026 induction class will be celebrated as part of uOttawa's Homecoming Weekend, October 2-4. Selections will be publically announced in June.
