Education: Accounting at Humber College, Studied in the Certified General Accountant Program, Bible Study Certificate, Christian Beliefs Certificate and Studies in Sports Ministry
Background: After high school I played semi-pro football for two years with the Mississauga Raiders Football Program in Toronto. A few years later I turned to Christian Ministries and held various positions. I also served as Associate Pastor at a church in Ottawa for a number of years.
I am also a competitor and competed in the Ontario Weightlifting Association for five years. I then turned sites to powerlifting and bench press with the Ontario Powerlifting Association where I have competed for the past 13 years. I have multiple national and commonwealth records in powerlifting and bench and have broken multiple IPF Open and Masters World records. I am 57 years old and still actively competing against guys half my age. I will continue to compete as long as I can because I believe that age is just a number.
I am currently a Chaplain with Athletes in Action serving here on campus. I have a dual role here as Sports Chaplain and Strength coach serving the Gee-Gees Football team. I also assist other varsity teams and athletes as needed. My focus is to help guide student athletes spiritually, so they can be mentally strong and physically, so they can understand their body movements and mechanics. I am here to serve you so please reach out if you would like my assistance!
Interests: I am actively involved in my local church; I enjoy travelling, playing board games and spending time with my family and friends.
