University of Ottawa to Host the 2026 Baggataway Cup
OTTAWA, ON — The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) is pleased to announce that the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees have been selected to host the 2026 Baggataway Cup Championship.
The tournament will be held November 12–14, 2026 at Gee-Gees Field on the University of Ottawa campus. For the first time in recent years, the tournament will follow a Thursday-to-Saturday format, featuring quarterfinals on Thursday, semifinals on Friday, and the Baggataway Cup Final on Saturday afternoon.
Located in the heart of Canada's capital, the University of Ottawa will provide student-athletes, fans, and alumni with an outstanding championship experience. Ottawa's vibrant downtown, rich history, and renowned attractions offer visitors plenty to enjoy beyond the field, while Gee-Gees Field provides a first-class venue complete with modern amenities, permanent seating, broadcast capabilities, and recently upgraded facilities.
