The Gee-Gees rung in the new year with a long road trip to London and Waterloo to visit the Mustangs and Goldenhawks. The Gee-Gees' opening game of the 2026 calendar year went the distance, eventually ending in a shootout loss. The following evening, the team fell in a hard-fought battle at Laurier.

The Gee-Gees were welcomed back to action with a test against the Queen's Gaels. The back-and-forth battle ended in favour of the Gaels. On Sunday, William Provost was the shootout hero in a win over RMC.
