The Gee-Gees women's soccer team were back on home turf, starting with a Friday night battle under the lights. The Toronto Varsity Blues logged two goals in the opening frame, both from the boot of Anne Yeomans.
Following the 2-0 loss, the Gee-Gees were back on Matt Anthony Field on Sunday. Gracie Somers opened the scoring early for the Gee-Gees with additions from Celina Bensebaa and Madison Clark. This marked Clark's first goal in a Gee-Gees uniform.

Football: Jaxxon Brashear finds game-winning pick-six in final minutes of action

Ottawa started on their heels in their meeting with the Gryphons, falling behind as Guelph returned the opening kickoff for points. The Gee-Gees had no problem responding, and eventually, the teams found themselves tied at 23-23 with less than five minutes to play.
Jaxxon Brashear stole the ball from the Gryphon's quarterback, returning it for a pick-six that happened to be the game winning touchdown.
