The Gee-Gees women's rugby team were back on the road for the second game of the season, meeting the Montreal Carabins for a rainy matchup on Terrain Vincent d'Indy. Rookie Gee-Gee, Grace Dingwall, led the team with a pair of tries in the winning effort.

Women's Soccer: Gee-Gees split games in home opening weekend
3-2 loss vs Nipissing (Goals: Dlamini, Smith)
2-0 win vs Laurentian (Goals: Mangiaracina, Gervais)
The Gee-Gees women's soccer team played host to the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday afternoon. The home opening matchup was a rematch of the 2024-25 OUA conference championship game where the Gee-Gees earned their third consecutive title. This time, the Lakers were the stronger team.
On Sunday, the Gee-Gees were back on the field to welcome the Laurentian Voyageurs. This time, it was all Ottawa. Elianne Gervais was a pillar of the offence, earning an assist on Sabrina Mangiaracina's opening goal, and finding the net herself later on.

Men's Rugby: Gee-Gees fall to CUMRC reigning champions in home opener
39-5 loss vs ETS
The Gee-Gees men's rugby team welcomed the CUMRC champions to Matt Anthony Field for a Saturday evening clash. With the stands packed, the electric matchup was a back-and-forth war to in the opening frame. From there, ETS turned on the jets and fought their way to victory.

55-29 loss @ Western
The Gee-Gees were on the road against on the nation's best, the Western Mustangs. Western scored on their opening drive but Ottawa was quick to respond as Daniele Breire forced a fumble by the Mustangs. This turned into points for the Gee-Gees, making it a 7-7 tie early in the game.
Ottawa put up a great fight, but ultimately, the Mustangs took control as the game went on.
