The Gee-Gees hit the field for the second time this season, welcoming the York Lions to Gee-Gees Field on Saturday afternoon. Ottawa took a 23-3 lead at halftime after an blocked punt by Daniel Briere turned into points for the Garnet and Grey. Josh Janssen and the Gee-Gees offence stormed the field with consistent offence in the air, finding Noah Avery and Robin Collioud for touchdowns.

Women's Soccer: Gee-Gees dominant in season opening weekend on the road

The Gee-Gees women's soccer was at work on the road, visiting the Trent Excalibur and Ontario Tech Ridgebacks. The squad started with a 3-0 win over Trent on Saturday before heading to Oshawa for a Sunday afternoon meeting.
Nibo Dlamini broke the Gee-Gees assist record against Ontario Tech, earning her 19th career assist.
