The Ottawa-Carleton rivalry took to the ice in 2016 in the inaugural Colonel By Classic. Over 3,000 fans attended the 2017 edition at TD Place with the uOttawa men's team taking home the Colonel By Classic Banner. The event is named after Colonel By Drive - the picturesque and historic road which runs along the Rideau Canal through central Ottawa and connects the two institutions with uOttawa at its northern end in the downtown core, and Carleton at the southern locks.

This year, get back into the rivalry as they face off against the Carleton Ravens. Come cheer on the women’s team at the Minto Sports Complex arena at 11 a.m. and the men’s team at TD Place arena at 7:30 p.m. Join us in your garnet and grey to cheer on our Gee-Gees.
