• Returning well-rested from a bye week, the Gee-Gees look to continue their hot start to the 2021-22 season, they have gone undefeated after their first preseason game and look to climb the national rankings ahead of the holiday break.

• Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu continues to log All-Canadian type numbers in her fourth season in Garnet and Grey. After posting a career-high 32 points and 14 rebounds against Ontario Tech, Lefebvre-Okankwu will look to continue a dominant start to the season against Toronto.

• Natsuki Szczokin has been on-fire shooting the ball to kick off her sophomore campaign, Szczokin leads the nation in three-point percentage, and ranks second in the OUA and ninth in the nation in field goal percentage.

• After starting the OUA season with three road losses to Queen's and Laurentian, the Varsity Blues will look to fare better in their Home Opener at the Goldring Centre.
