The first resemblance to an intercollegiate contest at the varsity level appeared this season. The Ottawa Varsity defeated MacDonald College 42-21 in the exhibition outing.

Ottawa and District Intermediate Champions, Eastern Canadian Intermediate Champions
The team began by winning the league and then defeated New Brunswick by a score of 94-60 in a two-game total points series for the Eastern Canadian crown. In a similar series with Niagara Falls for the Canadian championship, the Ottawa Varsity pulled up short by 1 point as their rival defeated them 81-80 before 2500 fans.
