Matthew Bolduc, Football
In the first two games of the 2010 OUA football season, fifth-year receiver Matthew Bolduc of Ottawa, Ont. led the No. 5 Gee-Gees (2-0, OUA) with a league-leading 275 yards. His 11 receptions for 183 yards in the game against the No. 9 Western Mustangs (1-1, OUA) were the difference maker in the 20-19 come-from-behind win for the Gee-Gees. Bolduc, a social sciences major, also connected with QB Bradley Sinopoli of Peterborough, Ont. for two touchdowns in the first game of the season against Windsor (1-1, OUA). Bolduc currently leads the CIS in yards per game with 137.5.
Bolduc was also named the OUA Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending September 6, 2010.
The Gee-Gees (2-0, OUA) are on the road this weekend at York, taking on the Lions (0-2, OUA) on Saturday September 11 at 1:00 pm. The Gee-Gees next home game is Saturday September 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Frank Clair Stadium when they take on the No. 10 McMaster Marauders (2-0, OUA).
