Fifth-year receiver Cyril Adjeitey, Ghana, went the distance for the Gee-Gees in their come-from-behind 43-35 win against the McMaster Marauders on Saturday.
Adjeitey had five receptions and led all receivers with 152 yards, including his game-breaking 106-yard touchdown, which sealed the deal and secured the victory for the garnet and grey.
Adjeitey was also named the OUA offensive player of the week, along with teammate fifth-year DB Chayce Elliott who earned the spot for special teams.
The Gee-Gees, undefeated on the season and sitting atop the OUA football standings, will travel to Kingston this weekend to face the Queen's Gaels (1-2, OUA) on Saturday, September 25 at 1 p.m.
