Ketsia Kamba, Cassandra Provost, Dragan Stajic, and Natsuki Szczokin have all have been selected as All-Canadians this season, all have been part of conference championship-winning teams and national medal-winning teams, and all have re-written the record books over their combined 19 seasons of play in Garnet and Grey.
Ketsia Kamba: Fifth-year lock, women's rugby
Ketsia Kamba has propelled the Gee-Gees women's rugby team as one of the top locks in program history. She was named a First Team All-Canadian in 2024, giving her three All-Canadian selections in her career. Only one other Gee-Gees rugby player has been named an All-Canadian three times.
Kamba ranks second all-time in program history for tries scored in regular season play, and her playoff performances have been spectacular as well. Kamba was named to the U SPORTS Tournament All-Star team in 2022 and 2024, and she holds two bronze medals and a national silver medal. That is in addition to two RSEQ championships and three RSEQ silver medals.
Beyond the pitch, Kamba was recognized as the Garnet and Grey Community Engagement Award winner in 2023-24 for her many contributions including to the Black Student-Athlete Advocacy Council and the women's rugby team's Rugby Academy and LEAD Program. Kamba's on-field and off-field impact has been outstanding.
Cassandra Provost: Fourth-year forward, women's soccer
Cassandra Provost was named the 2024 OUA Player of the Year after leading the league in goals scored – and it was the third straight season she accomplished both. She is the only Gee-Gees women's soccer player to win the OUA Player of the Year three times.
She also won the Rookie of the Year award in 2021, and the RSEQ Indoor Player of the Year award in 2023, giving her five major conference awards in her four seasons as a Gee-Gee.
A three-time All-Canadian and the 2022 National Player of the Year, Provost established new Gee-Gees records in career goals, at 61, and points, at 71, in OUA regular season play, averaging 1.38 goals per game. Her 23 goals in 2023 set the team record for goals in a single season.
A member of the 2022 FISU Americas Championship squad, she scored two goals at the competition as Ottawa captured the gold medal, and she holds two U SPORTS bronze medals from 2022 and 2024. And, she is a three-time OUA Champion.
Dragan Stajic: Fifth-year guard, men's basketball
The Gee-Gees all-time record holder in career assists, Dragan Stajic has been at the point guard position for one of the most successful periods in Gee-Gees men's basketball history. His five-year career has included four appearances at the U SPORTS National Championship Tournament, with three bronze medal wins.
He is a two-time OUA Champion, one of just four players who were part of both the 2023 and 2025 Wilson Cup victories. He was named to the 2024-25 All-Canadian Team as a second team member, and was an OUA Conference All-Star three times.
He is third in program history in steals, and is first in program history and in all known national records for career assists-turnover ratio. Throughout his career, he cemented his legacy as a dynamic shooter, distributor, and leader.
Natsuki Szczokin: Fifth-year guard, women's basketball
The 2025 OUA Critelli Cup Championship MVP, Natsuki Szczokin closed off her historic Gee-Gees career with a special season. She led the Gee-Gees to their third OUA Championship in team history and the program's third national bronze medal. In 2024-25, Szczokin was the team's leading scorer, led the OUA in assists, and led U SPORTS in steals.
Szczokin became the highest scoring guard in Gee-Gees team history, finishing with 1224 career points over her five seasons. She is the program record holder for steals, and ranks second all-time in assists. She led OUA in assists twice, and was the 2023-24 uOttawa Athlete of the Year.
A 2025 First Team All-Canadian, Szczokin is only the second player in team history to be named an OUA All-Star four times. She is also a four-time Academic All-Canadian, and was named an OUA All-Rookie team member in 2019-20. A competitor whose speed and tenacity was unmatched, Szczokin balanced defensive and offensive excellence like no other player in team history.
