Fourth-year quarterback Brad Sinopoli, Peterborough, Ont., became the all-time Gee-Gees leader for most touchdowns in a season with 22. Despite shooting for the all-time CIS record for most passing yards in a season, Sinopoli took what the Guelph defense gave him to rush for 157 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown. Sinopoli's combined stats (passing and rushing) of 361 yards are almost equal to Guelph's entire 374 offensive yards. Brad demonstrated great leadership and poise not letting the record chase become a distraction. Brad finishes the regular season as the OUA and CIS leader with 301 attempts, 184 completions, 2756 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and averaged 344.5 yards per game.
Brad was also named this week's OUA offensive football player of the week as well as OUA male athlete of the week.
The Gee-Gees will host the OUA semi-final on November 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Frank Clair Stadium.
