The Gee-Gees have three teams ranked in the U SPORTS National Top Ten lists this week, still led by the undefeated women's soccer team. The men's hockey team and the women's rugby team are also ranked this week: soccer has been ranked for 25 straight polls, rugby for 37 in a row dating back to 2014, and men's hockey for a program record 20 straight weeks. The football team received honourable mention this week.

The Gee-Gees men's hockey team opens the regular season this week at McGill, and are ranked no. 4 in the nation while McGill earned a pre-season no. 7 ranking. Ottawa is the highest ranked of six OUA schools in the first Top Ten of 2019-20. The no. 4 ranking equals the team's highest ranking from 2018-19.

The women's soccer team remained undefeated this weekend with a pair of 4-0 wins over Ontario Tech and Trent, but fell below Trinity Western in the ELO ratings this week to hold the no. 2 spot. Ottawa (8-0-2) is one of seven undefeated teams in the women's soccer Top Ten, and will take on Carleton (1-5-3) on Sunday afternoon at Carleton.

In women's rugby, the Gee-Gees slipped to no. 6 this week following a defeat at no. 1 ranked Laval. The Garnet and Grey (2-2-1) close out the regular season at home this Friday against Carleton (0-5-0), looking for the right to host an RSEQ semifinal.
