The Gee-Gees women's soccer team stayed undefeated this weekend with a win and a tie, running its record to 6-0-2 with six regular season games remaining. Ottawa holds onto its no. 1 national ranking for the fourth straight week and host Ontario Tech (2-4-1) and Trent (2-4-1) at Matt Anthony Field this Saturday and Sunday.

The Garnet and Grey moved up one spot in the football top ten this week, thanks to a 46-12 win at York. Ottawa, now 3-1, sits tied for third in the OUA standings with a game in hand. Ottawa, which boasts the second-highest scoring offence in OUA (34.3 points per game) and a defence which leads the nation in fumbles forced and recovered, will take on no. 6 ranked Guelph (3-2) on Saturday in Guelph.

In women's rugby, the Gee-Gees stayed at no. 4 this week after picking up a second regular season win. The Gee-Gees (2-1-1) take on no. 1 ranked Laval (4-0-0) on Saturday with a chance to secure a first-round playoff bye.

Next week will mark the first men's hockey Top Ten of 2019-2020 as the regular season begins Oct. 3.
