In a defensive battle against Laurier, linebacker Kyle Rodger was all over the field for the Gee-Gees. Rodger racked up 11.5 tackles and forced two fumbles leading a defensive unit that saw a significant amount of field time in the game. The Gatineau, Que. product led the Gee-Gees in tackles last season (49.5) after transferring home for his final two seasons after previously suiting up for the Montreal Carabins. Rodger's 20.5 tackles leads Ottawa thus far this season.
Michaela Haley scored four tries against Carleton, leading the way in her team's first win in the regular season. Her offensive prowess is currently unmatched in the RSEQ, as she leads the league with a total of nine tries on the season — three more than the next closest player. The Ottawa, Ont., native has already surpassed her totals from last season, when she notched four tries over the course of six games.
