The Gee-Gees men’s Water Polo program has been a staple of the University of Ottawa’s lineup of competitive club teams for over 25 years. Throughout the team’s history, the men's Water Polo team has welcomed several established players from competitive backgrounds and newcomers alike, and have transformed them into a cohesive and competitive group of young athletes.
If you are interested in joining a dynamic group of young men who love to train, compete and socialize, then the men’s water polo team is a good fit for you. Strong swimming experience is highly recommended.
The team trains from September to April each year. A typical season will see our teams compete in 4 to 5 tournaments, the National Capital Water Polo League (NCWPL) and, of course, the OUA Championship in November. The team also regularly has scrimmages with the Ottawa Titans Water Polo Club.
Newcomers are welcome year-round.
